Block Tales Pit - All 60 Floors, Boss Rematches and Card Rewards

The Pit is a 60-floor gauntlet below Bizville that re-fights every chapter's enemies and bosses in order. Enter with the Shrinking card from Blackrock Castle, survive the 9-floor chapter blocks, and claim a new card at every 10-floor safe room.

Where it sits

The Pit is the 60-floor challenge below Bizville

The Pit sits underneath Bizville and is currently made up of 60 floors. Enemies get progressively stronger the deeper players descend, and every 10 floors players obtain exclusive cards plus the option to teleport back via the Maps option in the Menu. It is inspired by the Pit of 100 Trials from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, with back-to-back enemy fights through several floors.

How to enter

Use the Shrinking card from Blackrock Castle

To access the Pit, the Shrinking card must be used in order to fit through the tunnel leading to the sewers. The Shrinking card is obtained in Blackrock Castle during Chapter 1. Once shrunk, take the sewer tunnel below Bizville to drop onto Floor 0, the surface spawn point with a Bed.

Floor layout

Chapter blocks of 9 floors with a safe room every 10

Every 9 floors after each safe floor contain enemies from the corresponding chapter. Floor 1-9 is Prologue, Floor 11-19 is Chapter 1, Floor 21-29 is Chapter 2, Floor 31-39 is Chapter 3, Floor 41-49 is Chapter 4, and Floor 51-59 is Chapter 5. Floors 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 are safe rooms with a Healing Pad.

Boss rematch floors

The hard floors are the chapter bosses

The Pit stacks the chapter bosses: Floor 9 has Blue Noob, Red Noob and Noobador; Floor 19 is four Sentient Statues; Floor 29 is four Komodo Dragons; Floors 37-39 are Greed, Solitude and Fear; Floor 47 has The Great Flocci; Floor 48 has Temple Guardian with The Left Hand and The Right Hand; Floor 49 is three Captain Trotters; Floor 57 stacks Greed, Solitude, Fear and The Magnificent; Floor 58 stacks Slasher, Griefer, Captain Trotter and Reginald; and Floor 59 ends with Reginald, Robur, Azuri and the Pit-exclusive Toothy Deer.

Pit rewards

A new exclusive card every 10 floors

Each safe floor gives a new card: Daze on Floor 10, Free Ice on Floor 20, Thorns on Floor 30, Deep Focus on Floor 40, Defend+ on Floor 50, and Pack Tactics on Floor 60. These are exclusive to the Pit and are picked up alongside the Healing Pad at each checkpoint.

Pit Fighter badge

The legacy badge for the demo Pit

The Pit Fighter badge is tied to completing the demo version of The Pit and is no longer active in the current Demo 5 build. Players who earned it in the earlier demo keep the badge, but new clears do not award it.

Weezer floors

Floors 19 and 29 are the community's Weezer floors

A prevalent community joke refers to Floors 19 and 29 as the Weezer floors. Both sit right before a checkpoint and have four of the same boss standing in a line, which players compare to the album cover of Weezer's Blue Album. Floor 19 is four Sentient Statues and Floor 29 is four Komodo Dragons.

Build shell

Bring a revive item and a party for the back half

The Pit only offers checkpoints every ten floors, so death costs a lot of progress. Keep a First Aid Kit or any other revive item on hand, and try the Pit with one or more party members — other players usually carry extra healing or support items that benefit the whole party. Plan your SP around the boss stacks at Floor 49 and Floor 59.
