If you are fighting for the Ice Dagger in the story, open Cruel King. If you returned to the throne room after Chapter 1 and the boss uses Choke, Famine and Last Stand, open Cruel King DX.
Defeating the optional version unlocks Call: Blackrock King, formerly named Call: Cruel King. Its card is distinct from the enemy and uses its own BP and SP costs.
